A member of the AROVCC Board, Carrie Bumgardner (3-year ovarian cancer survivor) and her company Sassy Scraps is hosting a scrapbook retreat to benefit the Coalition.
“Crop Teal You Drop” will be held August 28 – 30, at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute in Morrilton, Arkansas. The group wants to get the word out. Everyone knows that pink ribbons symbolize the fight against breast cancer, but not everyone is familiar with what the teal colored ribbons represent. The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute is a beautiful place to get away from it all and dive in to the hobby you love.
The starting cost for the weekend event is $175, or you can pay per day if you don’t want to stay the entire weekend. The cost includes snacks and meals.
